District Assessment

  • Annual Assessment Averaging Less than $20 per Parcel
     
  • Raises Approximately $160,000 per year
     
  • Funds will support implementation of the BRRPD Master Plan

  • Development of Hiking and Equestrian Trails
     
  • Creation of a Park for the Alta Sierra Community
       
  • Expanded Youth Sports and Recreation Programs
     
  • Recreation Programs and Classes for Adults
     
  • Maintenance & Improvements to the Magnolia Sports Complex

Presently the BRRPD is funded solely with $14,000 in secured tax revenues, which funds one part time employee to serve the recreational needs for Southern Nevada County.

This mail campaign will start in May, 2004 and ballots must be received by July 12th, 2004 either by mailing them or delivering them to the Auditing Firm present at the BRRPD Public Hearing on Monday, July 12th, 7 p.m..

Needed to win the campaign will be over 50 percent of those ballots returned.
